The negative film original defects as it was very common that negative and positive films carried manufacturing defects from the manufacturers. Unlike digital art and digital photography negative and positive films were affected by these defects that were invisible before the development.
Scratches and patina : Due to the age and use most vintage negative and positive films carry dust, scratches, patina, variations in colour, discolouration or other age related imperfections,
those are not considered as defect as they are present on the original negative film before the digitizing of the photographic negatives or positive films and they can be seen in the images on the website.
