The original negative film defects are not considered as print defects as it was very common that negative and positive films carried manufacturing defects from the manufacturing process. Scratches and patina : Due to the age and use most vintage negative and positive films carry dust, scratches, patina, variations in colour, variations in colour, discolouration or other age related imperfections, those are not considered as defects as they are present on the original negative film before the digitizing process of the photographic negatives or positive films and they can be seen in the images on the website.
